UC Berkeley SafeTREC’s 2024 Complete Streets Safety Assessments (CSSA) Program has launched! Our team will partner with California cities and public school and university campuses with a population of at least 2500, counties, and all California Federally-Recognized Tribes to conduct comprehensive transportation safety assessments that focus on pedestrian and bicyclist safety.
CSSAs help eligible communities identify and implement traffic safety solutions that lead to improved safety for all users of California's roadways.
Apply for a Complete Streets Safety Assessment in your community
To apply for a free CSSA in your community, please submit an application by Friday, January 19, 2024 for early consideration. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. Learn more about the CSSA Program
