Cindy Chen is a student assistant for UC Berkeley SafeTREC and supports communications efforts for SafeTREC's research, tools, programs, and education. She is currently an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in industrial engineering and operations research, and has prior experience in interning at companies like Bower and TREK.
Celine Covarrubias-Macias is a student assistant at UC Berkeley SafeTREC, supporting the Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program (CPBSP). Celine is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley studying urban studies and public policy. She has experience as a community organizer, a research apprentice, and an affordable housing development intern.
Faith Ling is a student assistant at UC Berkeley SafeTREC. She will be assisting the Complete Streets Safety Assessment and Safe Speed Limits programs. Faith is currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley working towards a degree in neuroscience and a minor in public policy. She is excited to contribute to transportation safety and public health.
Karen Shieh is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in computer science and data science. She has interned at IMEG Corp., participated in the Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program as a student researcher, and was part of an upper-division data science course as staff. At UC Berkeley SafeTREC, Karen will work as a web development assistant, building web applications for traffic safety and exposure data.
