Previously, he served as a postdoctoral scholar and continues to serve as a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. Dr. Doig holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from UC Berkeley, as well as a B.S. in civil engineering from the Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
His research primarily focuses on urban congestion, examining it from both traffic operations and traffic safety perspectives. Dr. Doig has contributed to various journal...
Sujin Lee is a postdoctoral scholar at UC Berkeley SafeTREC. Her current research focuses on examining how regional characteristics and safety measures contribute to reducing traffic crashes and creating safer transportation environments. She is also interested in the intersection of travel demand and urban attributes, using insights from multifaceted datasets to promote sustainable urban development and enhance travel demand management.
She earned her Ph.D. (2024) and M.S. (2019) from the Graduate School of Mobility at KAIST and a bachelor’s degree (2017) in urban planning and...
Atul Subedi is a postdoctoral scholar in transportation at UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). His research interests lie at the intersection of transportation engineering, planning, economics, and psychology. He uses psychometric and econometric modeling techniques to study travel behavior, technology adoption, and transportation safety. Atul holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University (2016), a master’s degree in Railway Transportation System Engineering from Mahidol University (2021), and a Ph.D. in Civil and...
