SafeTREC at Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety 2025

UC Berkeley SafeTREC researchers will be presenting at the 2025 Lifesavers Conference for Roadway Safety, held in Long Beach, California from March 9 - 11, 2025. This event is brings roadway professionals and subject matter experts together from across the U.S. and is designed to "engage federal, state and local government, law enforcement, public health, injury prevention, advocacy, and non-profit organization professionals in an exchange of ideas, strategies, and programs to reduce preventable injuries and deaths."

SafeTREC will be presenting in the following sessions:

  • Sunday, March 9, 2025 | 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.: Katherine Chen presenting in "Where's my Invitation to the Party? Promoting Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement"

  • Monday, March 10, 2025 | 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.: Liza Lutzker presenting in "Speed Management to Support Pedestrian & Bicyclist Safety"

  • Tuesday, March 11, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.: Julia Griswold presenting in "I Can Drive 10 Miles Over the Speed Limit": Interventions & Strategies to Prevent Speeding"
  • Tuesday, March 11, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.: Matt Raifman presenting in "Pathways to Deploying Vehicle Technologies at the State & Local Level"
