New Interactive Map of CPBST Program Now Available

December 13, 2017

Since 2009, UC Berkeley SafeTREC and California Walks (Cal Walks) have partnered together on the Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Training (CPBST) program to train local neighborhood residents and safety advocates on how to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety and strengthen their collaboration with local officials and agency staff to make their communities safer and more pleasant to walk and bike.

As of 2017, SafeTREC and Cal Walks have conducted 58 successful trainings in 58 communities! To help highlight training locations and the final recommendations and ideas for pedestrian/bicycle safety projects, policies, and programs that were identified during each workshop, we've created a new interactive map of the Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Training (CPBST) Program. On the map, you'll be able to access summary reports, where available, for each workshop proceeding.
