Street Story and Perceptions of Safety

Join UC Berkeley SafeTREC on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 1pm PT for the upcoming webinar, "Street Story and Perceptions of Safety" to learn about Street Story, the importance of narratives, and how perceptions of safety play an integral role in traffic data analyses. Street Story is an online community engagement platform that collects crash, near-miss, hazards and safe location data that can be used to help inform and prioritize traffic safety projects in California. In this webinar, participants will learn about the four types of reports collected, the importance of sharing stories and collecting narratives, the role of perceptions of safety in traffic safety, and how to access data in Street Story.
