Gregory Harasym has worked as a Senior Analyst for New York City Transit's Construction and Development Program for over 5 years. He has played an integral role in the successful construction and design of multi-million dollar projects such as the rehabilitation and mitigation of the Canarsie Tube and South Ferry Terminal. Julia Griswold is the director of the UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). Her current research focuses on implementation of the Safe System Approach in the U.S. and how the framework can be used to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, speed management, and road safety management programs.
