Bio/CV:
Masuma Mollika Miti is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley, specializing in transportation engineering. She is also a graduate student researcher at SafeTREC, where she assists with projects identifying speeding-related crash locations. Masuma completed her M.S. in transportation engineering at UC Berkeley and her BSc. in civil engineering from the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh. Her research focuses on safety, equity, and sustainability in the transportation sector, with an emphasis on integrating modern technology.
