Kris Leckie is a policy and program analyst at UC Berkeley SafeTREC. They manage the Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Training (CPBST) program and support the center with active transportation communications. Prior to joining SafeTREC, Kris worked as a senior community organizer at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition where they worked alongside community members, advocacy groups, and city agencies reprioritize park spaces for those walking, biking, and rolling with an emphasis on partnering with both senior and disability communities. Kris received a B.A. in anthropology and gender and women’s studies at UC Berkeley.
In their free time, Kris enjoys biking to local coffee shops, starting a new quilting project, and reading science fiction.
