On December 13, 2021, as part of the 3rd Annual Israel Road Safety Conference held in Tel Aviv, Israel, SafeTREC Co-Director Offer Grembek presented virtually about the Safe System Approach to road safety. In this presentation, Grembek discussed the motivation for focusing on zero deaths and the main principles of a Safe System.
Conference Overview
The purpose of the conference was to review the tools and existing challenges for preventing injuries and fatalities on our roadways and suggest solutions for increasing road safety, with a focus on the infrastructure necessary to maintain the safety of all road users, including those most vulnerable like people walking.
