Course Announcement: Injury Prevention & Control (PH258A), Fall 2015

PH 285A, Injury Prevention and Control course will be offered this Fall semester. The importance of injury, intentional and unintentional, as the leading cause of death before age 45, and the leading cause of years of potential life lost, will be illustrated. Following an overview, the course will be organized around specific current injury-related issues, such as pedestrian and bicycle injury, firearm injury and domestic violence. Students are encouraged to prepare an injury-related paper for publication.
