On September 22, 2015, CalSTA Secretary Brian P. Kelly signed the state's updated Strategic Highway Safety Plan. First developed in 2005, the updated SHSP Plan will work to save lives and reduce serious injuries on public roads. This updated plan represents considerable effort from numerous agencies and organizations.
