Soheil Sohrabi is a postdoctoral researcher with the Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC) at UC Berkeley. Soheil conducts interdisciplinary research with the overarching goal of having a safe and sustainable transportation system that can promote public health and social equity. He employs data analytics and modeling tools and integrates methods and concepts from transportation engineering, environmental engineering, social science, and public health to tackle his research questions.
Soheil received his PhD in Transportation Engineering from Texas A & M University. He holds a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Before joining SafeTREC, Soheil was with Texas A & M Transportation Institute as postdoctoral researcher.
