Nicholas Fournier

Nicholas (Nick) Fournier is a postdoctoral researcher with Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC) and Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology (PATH) at UC Berkeley. He has degrees in both regional planning and transportation engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, giving him a range of expertise spanning from human factors and safety research to continuum approximation, machine learning, and econometric models. He also has past postdoctoral experience at Monash University in Australia where he conducted industry funded research in public transit with the state and local transit agencies there. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys sailing, gardening, and travelling.
