Bio/CV:
Joyce is a PhD candidate in Transportation Engineering and a graduate student researcher at the UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). Her research focuses on assessing the safety and network impacts of autonomous vehicles. Before Berkeley, Joyce had obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and had worked at Uber, Aurora, and Cruise.
