Bio/CV:
Jill Cooper is the Co-Director of the UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC). She facilitates multi-disciplinary traffic safety and injury prevention planning. She is the principal investigator on projects involving pedestrian and bicycle safety, crowdsourced data collection, community-level safety planning, and statewide highway safety planning.
Jill has also served as a mediator, and has taught mediation and negotiation at several universities. She received a Masters degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley.
