Jessica Prasad is a program coordinator at the UC Berkeley Safe Transporation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC), where she supports community-engaged transportation safety programs focused on pedestrian and bicyclist safety and the Safe System Approach.
She has worked across local government, nonprofit, consulting, and private-sector settings, leading and supporting complex urban planning, housing, and mobility infrastructure projects throughout the Bay Area. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, with a specialization in Community Design and Development, from San José State University, and a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.
