Kayley Chan
Student Assistant
Kayley Chan is a student assistant at UC Berkeley SafeTREC, where she supports work on the SafeTREC and CATSIP websites. She is a current junior, double majoring in Cognitive Science and Data Science. Her professional interests lie in marketing, human-centered design and data analysis, and she is excited to contribute to transportation safety.
Priya Venkatesan
Student Assistant
Priya Venkatesan is a Cognitive Science student at UC Berkeley with a minor in Data Science and a certificate in Design Innovation. She works at the intersection of research, design, and technology, with experience spanning civic tech, healthcare AI, and enterprise UX. At SafeTREC, she contributes to the California Active Transportation Data Portal, helping make transportation safety data more accessible to researchers and practitioners. She is passionate about designing systems that translate complex information into clear, human-centered experiences.
