Kyung Jin Lee
Communications Manager
Kyung Jin Lee is the communications manager for UC Berkeley SafeTREC. She brings to the center more than 20 years of experience as a community organizer, journalist, and communications professional. Lee received her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Ling Sun
Research Data Analyst
Ling Sun is a research data analyst at UC Berkeley SafeTREC. Her experience includes travel demand analysis, pricing policy evaluation, optimization modeling, and data-driven decision support for transportation planning and policy. She received her Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2026. Prior to Berkeley, Ling earned her bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of British Columbia in May 2025. Her research Interests are transportation data science and travel behavior analysis.
