Applications are now being accepted for the UC Berkeley Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC) 2026 programs, which includes:

The Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program (CPBSP); and

The Complete Streets Safety Assessment (CSSA) programs.
SafeTREC Programs
Join our January 13th office hours online to learn more about each program and identify which is the best fit for your community.
The SafeTREC team is launching virtual office hours this year to better support those interested in applying to one or more of our programs. During the office hours in December, 2025 and January, 2026, you will hear about each program, have time to ask the team questions, and receive support with identifying which program best fits your needs. The office hours will take place over Zoom during the application period.
